Brilliant Young Galloway Allrounder-Boree Ironbark

All you wanted for Christmas was a cracking Galloway, but you didn’t get it? Don’t blame Santa, we were late off the mark putting this advertisement together, but Boree Ironbark a.k.a. Clancy could be just what you’re looking for.

At five years old and 14.1hh, he has done novice dressage, jumping 60cm (both showjumping and cross country), working equitation and Pony Club, showing (champion at all shows attended in his first season led and ridden). He has established shoulder in, leg yields and walk canter transitions.

Want to have a trail ride and move up the ranks in pony dressage - definitely. Go to interschools and pony club and be seriously competitive in everything- absolutely! Clean up the show ring - not a problem! From our top broodmare Bamborough Lady Rosanna (Welsh B) by Anglo Arabian Warrawee S’prem, Clancy shows all the potential to follow his older brother Calumet Victory (interschool mums may have seen this one clean up Nationals this year) , as a very competitive interschool all rounder. Structurally correct, unblemished and with the most beautiful personality, Clancy is that rarity - a sane sound, young galloway. Like Victor, Clancy has been handled by children since birth, and with his younger sister coming through, it is time for him to find his new home- breeding and training your own horses takes a long time!

We have used Clancy as a lesson horse for little jockeys and for visiting ladies of a “mature “ age when Mum want to ride out with friends. Clancy offers you the potential to do whatever you would like to pursue and he is always gives 110%. He is EASY to do anything with- teeth, feet, catch and has always been barefoot.
