Introduction: Kristabella Park Victorias Secret (Knickers) is a stunning 12-year-old Welsh x riding pony. Although mainly suited to the showjumping ring, Knickers has been taken to many xc schooling days, as well as the beach, trails and multiple camps, and has always been the same out as she is at home.

 

I have had Knickers for around 4 years, and she has been a massive confidence builder, helping me go from 60-70cm up to 90-1m in competitions and 1m – 1.15m at home. She is a very forward horse, that is willing to take any turn and jump off any spot given to her, barely ever making it home without a ribbon.

 

She has never been the most comfortable on flat as she is mainly a showjumping horse but has recently gotten so much better and willing through all her paces. Having not evented with me; she has been taken to a few eventing comps with her older owners. With a little more coaching on the flat, she could make a wonderful eventer.

 

Knickers is easy to catch, float, clip and never had problems with the farrier. She doesn’t kick, bite or rear, having the occasional buck when she is excited but nothing serious. She can be a bit strong when jumping after having a break but that is easily fixed after regular rides.

 

Being a forward horse, she is best suited to a confident and capable rider that isn’t afraid to let her go and can further her learning on the flat. She is only for sale due to rider needing a bigger mount to take up the levels.
