Pierre is a very sweet pony whom you will become fond of. Handled and ridden by an 8yr old.

Regularly attends pony club, does everything (flat work, games, handy mount, showjumping). 

Has had many additional dressage and SJ lessons. Owners have had Pierre for 3 years, he is ridden by an 8yo child, originally on lead line now independently. 

He has competed at Interschools, achieving 2nd in rider class and 4th in handy mount on lead line. Then 7th in both handy mount and rider class in a strong field of much older riders (primary novice) in 2025. He has competed at grade 6 level pony club in combined training. 

Regularly had complete beginner riders on him and led around, or led him off other horses in the arena and out on trail rides. He almost never spooks, ¹

Great to catch, tie, trim, brush handled by children with ease. He self loads onto the float and is a real pleasure to have around. More whoe then go. Not a forward pony. 

 

Sound, vice free and in work ready to go.

 

Suitable as a leadline, or childs pony for a novice rider as Pierre can be stubborn and want to go his own way. He needs a rider who has the confidence & experience to keep him focused and forward.

 

Had grey pony lumps removed in November 2024. Fully recovered. New owner would need to keep an eye on it.
