DisciplinesPresenting for sale – Four Winds Conqueror / Chippy.
Purpose bred to event, Chippy is rising 3 (2 years 7 months) and is growing into a super horse with a soft and intelligent personality and stunning physique.
Chippy is by David Finch’s World Cup, grey Zangersheide stallion, Charlemagne Ego Z.
Charlemagne’s progeny are competing globally with considerable success, up to and including 1.60m (Finch Farm Cab Sav, Finch Farm Cadel, Oaks Charleville). With almost 40% Thoroughbred blood, Charlemagne makes the perfect cross with great TB lines for eventing.
Chippy’s dam Audacia is by the popular TB stallion, Falvelon. His progeny have been highly valued off the track for their work ethic, kind nature and hardy physique in polo, show jumping and eventing. Audacia competed to 1m show jumping and 95cm eventing as a junior’s first event horse, training 2* before her career was ended by a tendon injury. Her Falvelon half-brother, Jackpot Jimmy is currently successfully competing at 2* and 120cm showjumping, also with a junior rider.
Chippy has inherited Audacia’s personality. He is a very sweet character, who will thrive with one on one training. He is kind loving nothing more than lots of cuddles and scratches. He is soft and will work very hard to please a kind trainer but will need patience.
He has lovely, correct uphill paces and a fluent jump with lots of scope. He has free jumped a handful of times on and off lead and shown a lot potential. He will be big, so he needs a home to bring him along at his pace and has experience with young horses.
Chippy leads from a buggy, happily paddocks with his yearling sister, mares and geldings. He loves attention and paddock friends, but is just as happy being paddocked alone.
Chippy is good for the farrier, has strong hooves and clean legs. He has not had any injuries, other than superficial paddock scratches. He is a very good doer, given a small hard feed only to include supplements and otherwise hay during winter as required.
As our first Four Winds foal and having lost Audacia when his sister was just 3 weeks old, Chippy is very special to us. With his superb breeding and personality, he deserves the vey best of competition homes. We can see him being kind enough for an experienced junior with good guidance to bring along or in a professional stable where he gets the love and one-on-one time that will help him thrive.
