Oh So Hot (Kitty) OTT mare

Introduction: Kitty is a well bred young mare by Sizzling out of Tale Of Love. She had a successful career, winning over $111k before retirement. 

Education, skills and experience: Kitty has a basic education. Since retirement, she has only been ridden at a walk and trot a handful of times. Kitty is not currently under saddle.

Handling and behaviour: Kitty is quiet and safe to handle. She can be a touch girthy - ears back - but doesn’t bite or kick out. Kitty is easy to catch, lead and handle (i.e. for farrier,  picking out feet, grooming, hosing and  washing). She ties up  happily and calmly at float etc without fuss or pulling back. Kitty loads into float/ truck very easily, stands quietly when travelling and unloads calmly.

Feeding and management: Kitty generally lives on grass, if it is adequate. She has been given a hoof and gut supplement to assist in these areas. 

Medical history: Kitty retired from racing with swelling to OS fore tendon. We are not selling her as a ridden horse and xrays/ scans would need to be done to assess suitability for anything other than the odd amble around. 

Rider Suitability: Experienced due to her level of education.

Reason for sale: Unfortunately, her owners do not have the capacity to hold on to Kitty. She will only be rehomed to a kind and caring situation which does not intend to use her as a performance horse or sell her on, for a profit. This will be written into the adoption contract.
