This mare has perfect conformation and lovely movement, schooled by professionals and ridden by children most of her ridden life. This beautiful pony has had good exposure to all things that living on a farm brings, tractors, motorbikes, children, dogs, trucks etc and has spent the last 6 years with us ridden mainly by our now 13 yo daughter. Unfortunately with time her legs have now grown way too long and she has moved onto a galloway.

Ivy is far too good to sit in our paddock and has so much more to give another younger confident rider wanting to do it all. Experienced horse home recommended as she has her few quirks on the ground, but not a nasty type. We started out with her as a first childs pony in an experienced horse home and she has been the most wonderful sassy pony and has grown with the children to be a much loved member of our four legged family and taken all that they have asked in her stride. Has attended numerous shows with us in the past 12 months always coming home with a neck full of ribbons, loves show prep, pony club, riding club rallies and gymkanas, trail riding, she is an excellent games prospect as she is fast and loves to jump. Would suit a farming family wanting to do a bit of everything from trails, farm work, PC and be competitive at showing on the weekends. This pony absolutely loves her current little human and is so willing to please. Ivy does not need to be lunged or worked down prior to riding, even after a break or time off just get on and ride, she loves a job to do and just wants to work and please an eager rider. I would say she is not the type to be fussed over too much and is best suited as a riding pony rather than on lead line.

She would equally be a valuable asset to any stud wanting to breed her due to her colour and breeding lines.

She is a good little paddock buddy (currently paddocked with 4 others) she gets along with other horses. She is equally happy to ride out alone or with groups.

Good to catch, rug, float, saddle (can be a little girthy at first), clip and trim feet and is a good doer. She is rugged and in work atm and starting to get her winter woollies on as the weather is cooling. This is a hard sale of a much loved family pony and will suit a loving horsey family.
