Talented and Athletic TB Gelding

“Anembo Pirate”, affectionately known as Bones, is a dark brown 16.3hh 9yo OTTB. Bones is a lovely big, solid horse. He has competed in showjumping up to 1m and schooled up to 1.10m. He is super brave on xc, eventing multiple times at EvA80 with consistent clear xc rounds, and has schooled xc up to 95 and 1*. Bones has a lovely soft snaffle mouth with three great paces, with potential to do well in the dressage ring. He has basics and leg yields established, training shoulder-ins and started training lengthens. Bones is great to trail ride by himself or with small groups, and is fine to pull out of the paddock after time off.

Bones does have his quirks which I’m more than happy to discuss with serious buyers. He is a very sweet horse who just wants to please, however he does require an experienced rider. He would do well with a confident teen or adult rider. NO beginners.

No rear, buck, bolt, bite. Easy to c/s/f/w. Up to date with teeth, worming and shoes.

Please no time wasters. This is a very hard sale due to absolutely no fault of his own, but because of personal circumstances. I think he would thrive in an eventing or adulting riding club home, with someone who can bring out his potential.
