Thriller: The Ultimate All-Rounder!

Thriller has a lovely, fun temperament and is an absolute joy to work with and be around. He gets along well with other horses, usually being high up in the pecking order and everyone who has met him can attest to his kind nature. 

Since retiring from racing in 2017, he has been retrained and now schools in both dressage and jumping. He has been leased for the past 6 months, who has done a superb job. 

His flatwork is well established, with smooth transitions, circle work, leg yields, shoulder-in, and the beginning of establishing flying changes. He is a very honest jumper and gives everything a go! Currently jumping 60cm courses and 80cm single fences, he has plenty of scope to progress to 1m. He has also completed some cross-country training. While still green to compete, Thriller is calm to take out and settles well in new environments. He has previously done 2 dressage competitions with 4 tests, he did 2 prep tests and got a 1st and a 2nd. His second comp he did 2 prelim tests, again behaving perfectly and placing 1st and 2nd. He scored 70.7% for the win. He also enjoys a trail ride and can be ridden bareback and bridleless. He is currently in work and ready to get out and start the competition season!

Thriller is safe, cool, calm, and collected. He has no dirt – no buck, bolt, bite, or rear. He has been ridden by equestrians of all ages and experience levels with no issues. Thriller is good to float, clip, farrier and lunge. He prefers angled floats and can be a bit stubborn to load, but he’s very food motivated and will happily load with a treat with consistent outings, this is rarely an issue.

He would suit a confident intermediate rider looking for something safe, versatile, and fun to compete, or an experienced rider wanting to develop him further. 

This is a very difficult and carefully considered sale. Thriller will only go to the best of homes.
