Absolutely heartbreaking sale of my beautiful 9yo 16.3hh Warmblood X gelding - “Laurie’s Gold” sired by the well known Laurie’s As (imp) out of a QH/TB mare.

“Alfie” is a big, striking liver chestnut gelding and is the coolest dude on the block 😎 every single person who meets him falls in love with his larger than life golden retriever personality, his cool calm and collected temperament, his beautiful free flowing paces and of course his handsome looks.

Alfie loves getting taken off property, is the same out as he is at home and has never spooked a day in his life with me. Nothing really phases him.

Currently competing level 3 HRCAV dressage with all of the attributes to continue progressing up to Level 1.

He has been out to over 20-25+ dressage competitions - always placing with too many ribbons to count. He’s also been to multiple clinics, trail rides, & showjumping days.

Alfie doesn’t need lunging, and can be pulled out of the paddock and simply hop on and go.

He is easy to do everything with from shoeing, floating, tying up and will greet you with a neigh at the gate when you arrive with the halter.

He doesn’t need clipping as he keeps a beautiful coat all year round and is an extremely good doer on the food front.

Alfie is best suited to a confident intermediate and above Adult Rider or a tall experienced teenager under regular coaching who wants to have fun and continue to be taken up the grades. Although he is easy in every way, he is a big horse and needs someone capable to push him and show him where to put his body when it’s needed.

Reason for sale is owner is moving overseas, a 5* home is my main priority here and in no rush to sell until that comes along. Alfie is such a sweetheart who I have had since he was 5 and he deserves a wonderful human to love and care for him just as much as I do.
