Poppy is a stunning filly who has movement, looks and trainability. With uphill movement and a big scopey jump she is a serious horse for the future. She has been well educated since a baby and is easy to handle and do everything with. She trucks, floats, ties up, goes on the walker, has been boxed during her handling preps, knows how to lunge and is good to wash. Good to catch in the paddock, and easy for the farrier to trim.

SIRE: For Edition, winner of the stallion performance test 2003, is a “sportsman” par excellence. Always powerful and very well-balanced moving, the bay stallion convinced performance test judges and test riders with his outstanding willingness to perform. So he received in the dressage category as well as in the jumping category scores far above average (performance test single score rideability 8,7 / jumping 9,2). His father Forsyth is a son of the famous international jumping phenom For Pleasure, and was ridden by the German rider Toni Hassmann during a successful career in international showjumping competition. In the damline, the refining ancestors Kronprinz xx, Vollkorn xx and Ladykiller xx bring in the “kick of blood”.

DAM: Pockets- A thoroughbred mare I had kept and campaigned myself. She has Show Jumped up to 1.04m with scope to go higher, but my limited time hasn't allowed this.

A lovely unspoilt filly who I had planned to carry on with myself but due to the demands of my business I need to be realistic about how much time I have.
